Gujarat IT Policy 2006 - 2011

As per the study conducted by NASSCOM, Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar are well ahead of citites like Delhi, Pune and Bangalore in view of the lowest cost of real estate, lower cost of human resources, uninterrupted power supply and investment friendly State IT policy initiatives.

• Assistance for setting up high-tech parks
• 50% exemption on Stamp Duty in case of first sale
• Electricity Duty Exemption
• Exemption from Power Cuts
• Waiver of NOC from GPCB
• Simplification of Labour Laws
• Option of higher FSI
• Exemption form Zoning Regulations
• Special Venture Fund for IT & ITES companies

The State shall provide highest level of security for the operation of IT/ITES units. Offence pertaining to violation of data security, confidentiality of documents and NDA's are viewed seriously.
