In its drive tomeet the demand of skilled manpower for Informations Technology and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry, Infocity, a joint centure between Gujarat Government and Creative Infocity Limited, is on the lock our for possible tie-up with foreign universities to impart technical education to structures in Gujarat start educational program in Gujarat.
Infocity has already deployed a team for the purpose and it is talks with some of the overseas universities.
Speaking to FE, Anupam Sarrna, director, Infocity, said “We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the purpose Infocity has already deployed a team, which is working on indentifying the universities and assessing possible tie-ups” Early this march, Dilip Barot, head of Creative Infocity Limited, which its majority partner in Infocity at Gandhinagar, complained of inadequate talent pool and number of training instances for BPO and IT industry.
